So I've decided that an update every 6 months isn't that bad. Here's a sample of our lives since the last update. Hannah has grown up so much- she is in a constant state of motion, is a parrot- repeating everything she hears (trouble), and is really exerting her independence. But we are having lots of fun. We hope you enjoy!

We have been having a wonderful, HOT summer! Hannah is growing like a weed, and seems to changing everyday. She's walking now, talking a ton, and getting pretty good feeding herself with a spoon and fork. She got her first haircut a few weeks ago and did really well!

I've been a bad blogger, but hopefully this post will make up for that. We celebrated Hannah's 1st Birthday this past Saturday. It's amazing how quickly the past year has gone by, and how much she has changed! I hope you enjoy this glimpse of our wonderfully busy weekend!

Hannah had her 9 month check-up this week, and here's where she stands:

weight: 17 lbs 12 ounces (31%)

height: 28 inches (60%)

head circumference: 43.8 cm (45%)

New skills: crawling FAST, pulling to stand and some cruising, clapping and waving good-bye

I know it's been a month, but life is busy with an 8 month old. Hannah continues to grow like a weed! As does her hair, as you can see it's no longer ridiculous to put a bow in it! She's learning new things all the time- she's working on picking things up with her fingers and feeding herself, cutting 3 teeth, talking all the time, and is very happy and playful. We had a wonderful time celebrating Hannah's first Christmas. Here are some of our favorite pictures.

We had a nice trip to El Paso before Christmas to see all of our family, but all the activity left us feeling pretty tired.
